Supply Chain Manager
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the supply chain process at Operating Company level, managing and coordinating the OpCo’s logistic and supply chain function including acquisition, warehousing, material management, and distribution/transportation to meet business requirements.
Supply Chain Planning Process
- Manages the supply chain planning and forecasting process, aligning various supply chain plans and managing information to ensure a structured planning process and improved quality of SC plans.
- Organises and leads supply chain calls/meetings (invite, minutes, action plan tracking).
- Participates in supply chain development aligned with Nutreco standards.
Logistics & Transportation
- Manages logistic activities for timely and efficient transportation and warehousing of incoming and outgoing materials and distribution of products.
Long‑Term Capacity Planning
- Planned capacity of raw material supply based on sales and raw material forecasting in cooperation with Commercial, Purchasing and Operations management to support long‑term business planning KPIs.
- Maintains KPIs such as forecast accuracy, forecast bias, OTIF and stock levels (working capital) and supplier performance evaluation including RMP and 3rd‑party manufacturing.
Leadership and Workforce Development
- Provides leadership by setting individual objectives, reviewing performance and giving ongoing feedback.
- Manages development and performance of planners through coaching, skills development and increased accountability.
- Creates a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and process optimisation.
Continuous Improvement & Projects
- Identifies, benchmarks and implements supply chain best practices.
- Initiates and implements operational improvements through development of control systems within teams.
- Drives efficiency and effectiveness of all supply chain activities and conducts root cause analysis and problem solving.
- Manages various improvement projects.
Quality & HSE Compliance
- Ensures all activities and operations adhere to HSE and quality rules, regulations, procedures, and guidelines, and addresses any anomalies.
Export & Import Management
- Leads and oversees all export and import operations across geographies, ensuring timely movement of goods and full compliance with customs, trade regulations and company policies.
- Coordinates with freight forwarders, customs brokers and internal stakeholders to optimise cost, service level and risk management.
