Responsibilities

• Manage weekly/fortnightly replenishment planning for ambient and fresh categories across Nature's Basket stores.
• Monitor store-wise inventory, stock ageing and freshness to maximize product availability.
• Coordinate with vendors, distributors and procurement teams for timely supply.
• Track vendor fill rate, OTIF and service levels.
• Ensure timely ordering based on sales trends, seasonality, and forecasts.
• Monitor inventory ageing and initiate depletion plans to minimize shrinkage.
• Coordinate with Distribution Centre and Logistics for timely dispatches.
• Work with Category and Store Operations to resolve stock shortages and quality issues.
• Prepare daily MIS reports on stock, ageing, wastage, fill rate and sales performance.
• Ensure timely RTV processing for rejected/damaged produce.
• Support new store launches, festive demand planning and promotions.
• Adhere to SOPs related to Fresh category handling and replenishment.
• Participate in continuous process improvement and vendor reviews.

About the internship:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

• 1. Manage weekly/fortnightly replenishment planning for AMBIENT (FMCG & STAPLES Categories) & FRESH (Fruits & Vegetables, Dairy, Chilled & frozen & Fish & Meat categories) across all Nature's Basket stores.
• 2. Monitor store-wise inventory, stock ageing and freshness to ensure maximum product availability.
• 3. Coordinate with vendors, Distributors, aggregators and procurement teams for timely supply.
• 4. Track vendor fill rate, OTIF and service levels.
• 5. Ensure timely ordering based on sales trends, seasonality, promotions and demand forecasts.
• 6. Monitor inventory ageing and initiate liquidation plans to minimize shrinkage and wastage.
• 7. Coordinate with Distribution Centre and Logistics teams for timely dispatches and deliveries.
• 8. Work closely with Category and Store Operations to resolve stock shortages and quality issues.
• 9. Prepare daily MIS reports covering stock availability, inventory ageing, wastage, fill rate and sales performance.
• 10. Ensure timely RTV processing for rejected or damaged produce.
• 11. Support new store launches, festive demand planning and promotional activities.
• 12. Ensure adherence to SOPs related to Fresh category handling, receiving, storage and replenishment.
• 13. Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
• 14. Coordinate with Quality teams for product quality compliance and vendor performance reviews.
