Job summary

ELGI Equipments is seeking a Supplier Quality Development Coordinator in India to support the development and qualification of suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality standards and defect-free incoming materials. You will execute supplier audits, drive corrective actions, and work with internal teams to improve supplier processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related field is required.
• 3–4 years of experience in supplier quality development, audits, and inspections.
• Hands-on experience with quality tools and supplier evaluation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier audits to validate quality processes and compliance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to prepare lists of recurring quality issues and critical customer complaints related to supplier quality.
• Drive corrective actions and CAPA with suppliers and ensure effective implementation.
• Ensure defect-free incoming materials for uninterrupted production.
• Maintain records and reports of supplier performance and CAPAs.

PurposeThe role holder is responsible for supporting the development and qualification of suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards. Reporting to the Section In charge Quality, the role focuses on executing supplier audits, implementing corrective actions, improving supplier processes, and ensuring defect-free incoming materials. This role ensures consistent supplier performance through structured evaluation, inspection, and process improvements.
