Job summary

CMD Precision Products is seeking a Supplier Quality professional in Tamil Nadu to control supplier and sub- contractor PPM, and to oversee supplier evaluation and selection processes. You will coordinate technically with suppliers, collect PPAP documents, maintain SAP and Excel systems, and support new product launches while driving root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

On-site visits and training are part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Control the supplier & sub-contractor PPM.
• Ensure & Maintain supplier evaluation and re-evaluation as per plan.
• Ensure supplier & sub-contractor selection process.
• Supplier co-ordination for technical aspects.
• Reduce and control the incoming stage supplier and sub-contractor occurrence.
• Follow and collect the PPAP and other documents and records from sub-contractor and supplier as per requirement.
• Ensure the supplier and sub-contractor end process verification and follow up.
• Maintain SAP and Excel systems.
• Support new product launches to supplier.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and CA of supplier quality issues.
• Perform onsite visit for root cause analysis and verification of CA.
• Assist with first off sample approvals at supplier / Sub-contractor end (If required).
• Deliver training of quality awareness for both suppliers / Sub-contractors.
• Ability to work on own initiatives.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949.
• Achieve goals within budgets.
• Maintain performance scorecard and publish to each supplier / Sub-contractor
• Based on performance scorecard, necessary actions get from respective supplier / Sub-contractor
