Job summary

Voss Automotive seeks a supplier quality professional to drive PPM, supplier development, and problem resolution with suppliers. You will perform system/process audits at supplier sites, and ensure TS 16949 documentation and quality improvements.

Role requires root cause analysis, supplier evaluation, and collaborative issue resolution within agreed timelines using standard problem-solving tools.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Experience in supplier evaluation and selection
• Ability to perform process audits at supplier end
• Root cause analysis and problem solving using standard tools (G8D)
• PPM analysis and supplier development
• Documentation for supplier base management per TS 16949
• Good communication, initiative, and persistence
• Word and Excel proficiency
• Measuring and improving supplier process capabilities

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier PPM and supplier development activities
• Conduct system/process audits at supplier sites and train suppliers
• Resolve supplier quality issues within agreed timelines
• Ensure TS 16949 compliant documentation for supplier base management and quality improvements
• Drive continuous improvement with suppliers through CAPA and process improvements

Professional abilities

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes like machining, moulding, fabrication, etc.
• Knowledge of new supplier evaluation & selection
• Process & system audits at supplier end.
• Root cause analysis , G8D , problem solving tools
• Supplier PPM analysis, planning & implementing actions for PPM improvements at supplier end.
• Documentation for supplier base management & quality improvements as per TS 16949 systems.
• Good telephone manner, good interpersonal skills, demanding, takes initiative, tenacious.
• Knowledge of software packages (Word, Excel).
• Measuring & improving process capabilities at supplier end.

Technical Knowledge

• SPC , PPAP , G8D , QC tools, APQP, MSA, FMEA
• System development as per TS 16949 & ISO 14001 clauses & procedures.

Main mission -

Supplier PPM, Supplier development, problem resolution within agreed time line jointly with the suppliers. Development of weak suppliers through system / process audits & training. Compliance to TS 16949 documentation related to supplier base management & supplier quality.
