Job summary

Maersk in Bengaluru is seeking a Supervisor - Operations onsite to oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient execution of inbound, outbound, inventory and value-added services while meeting customer requirements and productivity targets.

The role requires 5–7 years in warehouse/logistics, with experience in SAP/WMS and strong leadership capabilities to manage a team, ensure SOP adherence, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in WMS, SAP, or similar warehouse systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations including inbound, outbound and VAS activities.
• Ensure timely completion of receiving, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory transactions.
• Monitor productivity and throughput against defined targets.
• Ensure adherence to customer SOPs and operational procedures.
• Lead and manage warehouse associates and floor staff.
• Allocate manpower effectively based on operational priorities.
• Conduct daily briefings and shift handovers.
• Monitor attendance, discipline, and employee performance.
• Ensure customer SLAs and KPIs are achieved.
• Support customer visits, audits, and operational reviews.
• Maintain documentation and records as per contractual requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and warehouse regulations.
• Conduct regular safety observations and toolbox talks.
• Support 5S implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive a zero-incident and zero-damage culture.
• Prepare daily operational reports and KPI dashboards.
• Track productivity, throughput, attendance, OT, and service levels.
• Escalate operational issues and risks to management in a timely manner.
• KPIs: Throughput, Order Fulfilment Accuracy, On-Time Dispatch, Productivity, OT, Customer SLA, Safety, Audit, Damage Control
