Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead plant-level quality surveillance and QST audit activities in accordance with the approved audit program.
• Ensure the identification documentation monitoring and effective closure of quality observations and nonconformance reports NCRs.
• Verify the effectiveness and sustainability of corrective and preventive actions prior to closure.
• Monitor plant QMS performance and proactively identify areas requiring improvement.
• Drive actions to minimize recurring nonconformances and support the objective of achieving zero major nonconformances.
• Ensure readiness for customer certification internal and external audits.
• Track audit findings and ensure closure within defined timelines with appropriate evidence and effectiveness verification.
• Maintain and review QMS-related records quality dashboards QFM data audit reports and surveillance documentation.
• Review and recommend revisions to QMS procedures and documents based on changes in standards specifications processes and organizational requirements.
• Interpret applicable API and ISO standards and facilitate their effective implementation within the QMS.
• Provide guidance to cross-functional teams on root cause analysis corrective action preventive action and compliance requirements.
• Report significant quality risks recurring issues and improvement opportunities to management.
• Promote a culture of process discipline quality compliance continual improvement and proactive defect prevention across the plant.

Job Purpose / Summary

The SUP-Central Quality-Q&TS-QS is responsible for ensuring effective implementation and continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS. at the plant level through systematic quality surveillance, QST audits, non-conformance monitoring, and audit compliance. The role involves identifying systemic quality gaps, analyzing trends, ensuring timely and effective corrective actions, reviewing QMS documentation against applicable standards, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to strengthen process compliance and prevent recurrence of quality issues.

Job Description

Plan and conduct QST audits and quality surveillance activities across plant functions and processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities. Review Non-Conformances (NCs/NCRs., determine systemic issues, and monitor timely closure of corrective and preventive actions. Conduct and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly QST observations and analyze quality trends for recurring issues. Prepare, analyze, and maintain QFM data, quality surveillance reports, audit findings, NCR status, and management review inputs. Review the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure sustainable closure of observations and non-conformances. Monitor compliance with the QMS, documented procedures, work instructions, and applicable customer requirements. Coordinate internal and external audits, including audit planning, preparation, response to findings, and closure of NCs within defined timelines. Review and evaluate QMS documentation for adequacy, applicability, and continual improvement. Review applicable standards, codes, and specifications and ensure relevant requirements are incorporated into QMS documentation and processes. Ensure alignment of QMS requirements with applicable standards such as API 5L, API 5CT, API 12B, ISO 29001, ISO 9001, and ISO 17025, as applicable. Analyze quality surveillance findings and identify recurring trends, process weaknesses, and potential risks. Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and other functions for implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Support management in strengthening the QMS and maintaining a strong state of audit and process compliance. Conduct awareness sessions and guide functional teams on QMS requirements, audit compliance, and effective corrective action implementation.
