Job summary

Kintech Synergy in India is looking for an electrical engineer to lead substation erection, testing and commissioning on EPC projects. You will supervise earthing, cable laying, terminations and related works at sites across GUJARAT or Rajasthan.

This role requires 5-7 years hands-on experience with substations, familiarity with GETCO/RVPN/PGCIL specs, and readiness to work at project sites in the indicated states.

Qualifications

• BE/Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 5-7 years of hands-on substation erection, testing and commissioning with an EPC contractor.
• Experience in 66kV/132kV/220kV substations or RE pooling substations.
• Familiar with utility specifications and inspection practices (GETCO, RVPN, PGCIL).
• Willing to be posted at project sites in Gujarat or Rajasthan.

Responsibilities

• Execute erection of substation equipment, transformers, brakers, isolators, CT/PT, LA, structures, bus bars and panels.
• Supervise earthing , cable laying, termination and illumination works.
• Carry out and record pre--commissioning test with OEM and client engineers.
• Interpret SLDs, layouts and schematics, rains site queries and resolve drawing confilict.
• Maintain measurement books, daily progress reports and material reconciliation
• Supervise subcontractor gang for quality productivity and safety
• Support inspection and charging of the substation
