Job summary

Samridhi in India is seeking engineers to design primary electrical systems for substations, including busbars, switchgear, transformers, and earthing systems. You will develop SLDs, GA drawings, and equipment layouts, while performing short-circuit and protection studies.

The role requires experience in EHV underground projects, exposure to transmission sub-station EPC projects, and knowledge of CEA, PGCIL, IEC and IS standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in EHV underground projects.
• Exposure to transmission sub-station EPC projects.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (CEA, PGCIL standards, IEC, IS).

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed designs for primary electrical systems including busbars, switchgear, transformers, isolators, circuit breakers, surge arresters, and earthing systems.
• Develop single line diagrams (SLDs), general arrangement drawings (GAs), and equipment layouts.
• Perform short-circuit, load flow, insulation coordination, and fault level studies.
• Design earthing and lightning protection systems for substations.
• Design Underground EHV Cables and accessories with routing.
• Ensure designs comply with IEC, IEEE, IS, and utility-specific standards.
