Job summary

Stantec India in Pune seeks an experienced Electrical Substation Design Engineer for AIS and GIS stations, including renewable energy projects. You will size equipment, develop GA drawings, prepare specs and BOMs, and coordinate with clients and suppliers.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering and be proficient in AutoCAD, REVIT, Plant 3D, and Bentley MicroStation, with NFPA/IEC/IEEE knowledge. Travel may be required.

• Experience with NFPA and international standards (ISA, IEC, IEEE).
• Knowledge of electrical/substation design, sizing, and drawings.
• Ability to prepare BOMs, vendor documents, and reports.

Specific Experience

• Bachelor/ master’s degree in Electrical engineering.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in Electrical Substation for Both AIS & GIS Stations, Renewable energy.
• Experience in with balance of plant related activities such as Sub-station, Material handling.
• Experience in Co-ordination with Customer and Suppliers.
• Experience in System Studies & Primary, Secondary Knowledge in substation design.
• Experience in Electrical Equipment sizing, Cable sizing.
• Experience in preparation of Bill of Material for Complete Substation with proper. Components / Equipment selection as per Customer Specification and Requirements.
