Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru is seeking a motivated Subsea Engineer with 2 years of subsea, offshore oil & gas, or renewable energy project experience to support design, analysis, and integrity management of subsea systems.

You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals, support digital twin initiatives for Subsea Network, classify design and operation documents, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of subsea engineering or offshore project experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the digital twin initiatives for Subsea Network
• Identify and classify the bunch of design/operational documents corresponding to the right piece of Subsea equipment
• Verify and validate the existing hierarchy of Subsea equipment classification as per company norms
• Assist in sourcing the documents in SharePoint
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and applicable regulations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned exercises.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Subsea Engineer with 2 years of experience in subsea engineering, offshore oil & gas, or renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will support the design, analysis, and integrity management of subsea systems while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are achieved safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.

Work Experience

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in petroleum Engg or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in subsea engineering or offshore projects.

Work Experience

• Experience in SPS [Subsea Production System] Operations
• Exposure to Subsea Operations like IWOCS / ROV / Maint ops
• Able to thoroughly read SPS / SURF P&IDs
• Knowledge of subsea equipment, pipelines, risers, umbilicals, offshore installation methods, flexible and rigid pipeline systems.
• Leading and mentoring the team
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated & excellent work ethics
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
