Job summary

Nokia is seeking a Services Assurance Subject Matter Expert to ensure quality and accuracy of LNI artifacts, procedures, and scripts for planned activities on customer networks.

In this role you will leverage your Mobile Core expertise to review, approve and measure LNI deliverables, while contributing to automation and ensuring high-quality project delivery with KPI monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field with 10+ years in software/IT/telecom architecture.
• Proven experience in defining architecture and delivering those solutions to the market.
• Extensive experience in telecommunications with deep understanding of Mobile Core network elements and technologies.
• Understanding of interfaces between Mobile Core solution elements including third parties.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Packet Core functions: MME, S/PGW, AMF, SMF, UPF.
• Competences on TCP/IP & main Protocols: Diameter (Gx-Rx-Sy)/ HTTP2/ SIP / Sigtran / SOAP-XML / SNMP.
• Competences in Java/J2EE, Linux, DBMS, web technologies, cloud/virtualization, Kubernetes, containers, SDN, and data analytics.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux OS’s & Databases (Aerospike/MariaDB/Oracle/SQL)
• Advanced competence of NW Architectures/Products & International standards: 3GPP/ETSI.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and approve services delivery artifacts for Live Network Intervention.
• Review LNI plans, data sources, procedures, scripts prior to implementation.
• Define KPIs to measure impacts to the network from LNI activities.
• Contribute to automation programs for LNI preparations and executions.
• Monitor delivery KPIs and project performance to ensure quality.

Driving quality execution for our customers is critical for the long-term success of Nokia and customer satisfaction is the main measure of this objective. In this role, you will ensure the success of a Live Network Intervention by taking responsibility for the quality and accuracy of the LNI artifacts, procedures, scripts needed to execute the planned activities and supervise LNI execution.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• As a Services Assurance Subject Matter Expert, you will be responsible for analysing and approving the services delivery artifacts that will be used to support Live Network Intervention.
• You will accomplish this by leveraging your extensive Mobile Core expertise, best practices, and lessons learned. This role will require you to look across product domains and measure the impact and risks of LNI activities at a solution level.
• Review and approve LNI plans to include data sources like CiQ, implementation procedures, scripts and other LNI artifacts prior to implementation on the customer network.
• Review and establish the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) that will be used to measure impacts to the network based on LNI work to be performed.
• Capture details of the review and as needed contribute findings to lessons learned and best practices.
• Contribute to Automation programs focused on LNI preparations and executions.
• Ensure high-quality project delivery by monitoring delivery KPIs, execution plans, and overall project performance.

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, with 10+ years of experience in architecting software, IT, or telecom solutions.
• Proven experience in defining architecture and delivering those solutions to the market.
• Extensive experience in telecommunications, with a deep understanding of Mobile Core network elements and technologies, their evolution, and the latest industry trends.
• Understanding of the interfaces and interactions between Mobile Core solution elements including 3rd party’s.
• Knowledge and Hands-on experience with Packet Core functions: MME, S/PGW, AMF, SMF, UPF
• Competences on TCP/IP & main Protocols: Diameter (Gx-Rx-Sy)/ HTTP2/ SIP / Sigtran / SOAP-XML / SNMP.
• Competences in Java/J2EE, Linux, DBMS, web technologies, cloud/virtualization, Kubernetes, containers, SDN, and data analytics.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux OS’s & Databases (Aerospike/MariaDB/Oracle/SQL)
• Advanced competence of NW Architectures/Products & International standards: 3GPP/ETSI.

Nice to have:

• Cloud knowledge (VNF, CNF) & related products (CBIS/CBAM – NCS/NCOM) or platform VMware/OpenStack.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Good Communication skills which shall enable appropriate articulation of Issues / risks and their mitigation
