Job summary

iDream Education is seeking a Science Content Alignment SME to own K-12 curriculum alignment and open educational resources for state boards across India. You will collaborate with team leads and content teams to ensure high quality science content delivery.

The role demands 2–5 years of teaching or EdTech domain experience, strong research skills, and proficiency with MS Excel/Google Sheets and bilingual communication in English and Hindi.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelors degree in Science.
• 2-5 years of experience in education domain (teaching experience with product use case/edtech domain).

Must have a minimum of 2-5 years experience in teaching Science and a minimum of 2 years of total work experience in a full-time role in a relevant field.

Researching and content exploring skills to collect and maintain all the good quality, free to use content sources available for State Board curriculums.

Possess good grip on MS Office / Google suite as this work will majorly happen in Excel and Word Files, one needs to be very comfortable operating these with attention to minute details.

Be adept with developing assessments as and when required

• To assist Team Leads in regularly tracking and monitoring updates, revisions, and changes in Science curriculum across different State Boards.
• To develop a strong understanding of Science syllabus and State Board curriculum, including subjects, courses, grade-wise learning requirements, and content expectations.
• To support the identification, collection, and maintenance of high-quality, credible, and free-to-use Science content and OER (Open Educational Resources) from reliable sources.
• To regularly monitor Government, partner, and other credible educational sources for updates, new resources, and changes relevant to Science content.
• To develop a thorough understanding of the existing Science content library across different State Boards, grade levels, and regional language requirements.
• To verify and review the sources used for Science content to ensure that they are credible, relevant, appropriate, and aligned with the required curriculum.
• To identify alignment gaps, inaccuracies, and content errors and support the team in resolving them effectively.
• To review, improve, and polish curriculum alignment and the OER added to ensure accuracy, relevance, and quality.
• To regularly update, add, replace, or revise Science content in the State Board master sheets based on curriculum changes and identified requirements.
• To review and finalize corrected and aligned Science content, ensuring that it is accurate, complete, and ready for delivery across all platforms.
• To work effectively in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment, respond to changes promptly, and provide timely feedback on deliverables to ensure issues are resolved within defined timelines.
• To collaborate closely with Team Leads and other members of the iDream Education team to ensure the development and delivery of high-quality Science content, products, and solutions for learners and users.

4. Qualifications & Experience

Education: Masters or Bachelors degree in Science

Experience: 2-5 years of experience in education domain (teaching experience with product use case/edtech domain)

• Good knowledge regarding Science for classes K-12 of CBSE
• Proficient in MS Excel / Google Sheets
• Proficient in Hindi and English (Read, Write and Speak)
• Good understanding of MS office / Google-suite
• Excellent research skills and have an eye for detail
• Sharpness in understanding assignments and proactively handle responsibilities
• Excellent in terms of quick and effective communication and coordination
