Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or CA/CMA intermediate with relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets, financial instruments and NAV processes.
• Proficiency in Excel and clear English communication.
• Exposure to custody, brokerage, depository and mutual funds is advantageous.
• Experience with fund services accounting and valuation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality fund accounting deliverables for multiple portfolios including NAV packs.
• Support Fund Services - Accounting, Valuation and Stat Reporting across regions.
• Prepare/pre and post NAV activities and perform checker duties as needed.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and year-end working papers; raise issues to relevant teams.
• Act as individual contributor and participate in cross-team initiatives.

In this role, you will:

• Responsible for ensuring quality pack deliverables for several portfolios of Alternate & Private Asset funds include Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Estate funds, Stat reporting.
• Individual will be responsible for supporting Fund Services - Accounting & Valuation and Stat Reporting covering Europe, MENA, APAC region for single or multiple clients.
• Primary responsibility of preparing Pre & Post NAV activities & NAV packs and performing checker activities as and when required.
• Making / Reviewing of Financial statements and Year-end working papers as per requirement. Raising the exceptions with appropriate teams to ensure the actions of the same before finalizing the package.
• Role will be of individual contributor nature and will not have team reporting to the role. Initiatives to demonstrate the application of principles in the day-to-day work environment Participation and support provided to initiatives taken by other teams.

To be successful you will:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other qualifications like CA /CMA Qualified to intermediate with relevant/accounting work or article ship experience
• Excellent knowledge of Capital Markets, Financial instruments, Accounting and its Principles with Life cycle of NAV process.
• Proficiency in EXCEL essential. Ability to Speak and understand English and communicate effectively. Good interpersonal, teamwork skills, organized, Proactive with solutions and detail oriented.
• Knowledge in custody, brokerage, depository, investment accounting, mutual funds and reconciliations in Fund Industry will be added to the advantage.
• Working knowledge of Bloomberg / Reuters, other reconciliation and accounting applications used across industry
