Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Fund Administration Processor to support Fund Services—Accounting & Valuation across Europe, MENA, APAC regions. You will focus on preparing NAV packs and financial statements, performing checks, and maintaining strong relationships with internal partners.

The role requires an accounting background, Excel expertise, and knowledge of fund services regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Excellent knowledge of Capital Markets, Financial instruments and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel is essential.
• End-to-end Fund Accounting / Financial Reporting knowledge and related regulations for fund services.
• Knowledge in custody, brokerage, depository, investment accounting and reconciliations in fund industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare NAV packs, Stat Reporting or Global Tax on timely basis with expected quality.
• Raising exceptions with appropriate teams to ensure actions before finalizing packs.
• Develop and maintain respectful relationships with internal customers & business partners.
• Ensure quality pack deliverables for portfolios of Alternate & Private Asset funds (Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Estate).
• Operate within NAV Shell of Funds services with technical excellence to achieve targets.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Fund Administration Processor.

• Individuals will be responsible for supporting Fund Services - Accounting & Valuation, covering Europe, MENA, APAC region for single or multiple clients.
• Primary responsibility of preparing Pre & Post NAV activities & NAV packs and performing checker activities as and when required. Making of Financial statements and Year-end Tax working papers as per requirement
• Raising the exceptions with appropriate teams to ensure the actions of the same before finalizing the pack. To develop and maintain mutually respectful & successful relationships with internal customers & business partners.
• Prepare accurate NAV packs, Stat Reporting or Global Tax on timely basis with expected quality.
• Responsible for ensuring quality pack deliverables for several portfolios of Alternate & Private Asset funds including Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Estate funds, Stat reporting or Global Tax
• The role will operate within the orbit of the NAV Shell of Funds services and will require technical excellence to achieve target deliverables.

To Be Successful You Will

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other qualifications relevant to the accounting/finance industry with relevant accounting work experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Capital Markets, Financial instruments, Accounting and its Principles. Basic knowledge of end-to-end products and processes, multiple markets and regulations.
• Good Knowledge in Global Tax working papers will be preferred Proficiency in EXCEL essential.
• End to end Fund Accounting / Financial Reporting Knowledge and regulations pertaining to the fund services industry will be added advantage. Life cycle of NAV process.
• Knowledge in custody, brokerage, depository, investment accounting, mutual funds and reconciliations in Fund Industry will be added to the advantage.
