Job summary

Bhanzu is seeking a Subject Matter Expert to contribute to English Creative Writing and Public Speaking courses for grades 1-6. The role ensures quality, relevance and effectiveness of learning materials and assessments.

The SME will collaborate with designers, create engaging lessons, and develop assessments aligned with curriculum objectives, while leveraging digital tools for interactive learning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of curriculum design experience for CBSE grades 1-6.
• Experience leading a team of SME’s (6-7).
• Excellent written English with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with instructional designers to create engaging lesson plans, worksheets, activities and assessments.
• Review and refine course content for clarity, engagement and age-appropriateness.
• Provide SME input on English language learning pedagogy, early literacy and public speaking.
• Develop formative and summative assessments to evaluate student skills.
• Stay updated with best practices in early childhood education and digital learning tools.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) to contribute to the development and enhancement of our English Creative Writing and Public Speaking course for grades 1-6. As an SME, you will ensure the quality, relevance, and effectiveness of our learning materials and assessments.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with instructional designers and content developers to create engaging lesson plans, worksheets, activities, and assessments aligned with curriculum objectives.
• 5+ years of experience in curriculum designing, content creation, lesson plan for CBSE students is mandatory.
• Review and refine course content to enhance clarity, engagement, and age-appropriateness.
• Provide subject matter expertise on English language learning pedagogy, early literacy, storytelling, creative writing, and public speaking.
• Develop formative and summative assessments to evaluate students’ comprehension and communication skills.
• Stay updated with best practices in early childhood education, instructional design, and digital learning tools.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualifications: Graduate/Postgraduate degree in English Language, Literature, or Education.
• Leadership: Has Experience handling a team of 6-7 SME's.
• Expertise: Strong knowledge of English language instruction for young learners.
• Language Skills: Excellent written English skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely
• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with digital tools for content creation and interactive learning.
• Experience in other EdTech platforms is a plus.Prior experience teaching or working with the NAPLAN and Common Core curriculum is preferred.
