Role Description

The Subject Matter Expert – Data Science will design and deliver high-quality learning content and training sessions focused on data science, statistics, and analytics for FACE Prep learners. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating curriculum materials, developing case studies and projects, preparing assessments, and refining course content based on learner feedback and industry trends. The role involves conducting interactive classroom sessions, mentoring students on data science concepts and career pathways, and collaborating with the academic and product teams to ensure that the content remains current and industry-aligned. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore, requiring close coordination with internal teams and active engagement with learners.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong foundational skills in Statistics and Data Science.


• Candidates should possess applied skills in Data Analytics and Data Analysis.


• Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills for problem-solving and decision-making.


• Proficiency in common data science tools and languages (such as Python/R, SQL, and relevant libraries) is beneficial.


• Experience in building real-world data science or analytics projects and translating concepts into teachable content is preferred.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear, structured manner.


• Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a related quantitative field is desirable.


• Prior experience in teaching, training, or mentoring in data-related domains is an advantage.
