Qualifications

• M.Sc./M.Tech in Remote Sensing, Geoinformatics, or Geography.
• M.Sc./M.Tech in Geomatics, Geology, Surveying or Hydrography.
• Strong subject knowledge in the domain.
• Good written English and proofreading skills.
• Good research skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with online databases and spreadsheets.
• Experience in content writing or quality checking is preferred.

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Research and collect relevant images from publicly available sources.
• Review satellite images, maps, and other geospatial visuals.
• Check image metadata, captions, and related information.
• Write clear and accurate descriptions of images.
• Review AI-generated descriptions, identify errors or generic content, and rewrite them wherever required.
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and completeness of image descriptions.
• Identify suitable data sources and flag any licensing or access-related issues.

Requirements:

• M.Sc./M.Tech in Remote Sensing, Geoinformatics, or Geography.
• M.Sc./M.Tech in Geomatics, Geology, Surveying, or Hydrography.
• Strong subject knowledge in the relevant domain.
• Good written English and strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Good research skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with online databases and spreadsheets.
• Experience in content writing, technical writing, scientific writing, annotation, or quality checking is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI tools is an added advantage.
