Vivasha AI Solutions is seeking a GIS and Remote Sensing Engineer to process satellite and aerial imagery, build geospatial workflows, and contribute to change detection and mapping applications.

You will develop tools with Python and geospatial libraries, optimize pipelines, and collaborate with AI teams to integrate deep learning models into geospatial solutions. This role offers growth in GIS and remote sensing within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in GIS, remote sensing, or geospatial software development.
• Strong Python skills and practical experience with geospatial libraries.
• Understanding of coordinate reference systems, projections, and spatial operations.
• Experience with QGIS and raster/vector processing.
• Ability to troubleshoot data quality, alignment, and geospatial performance issues.
• Work on satellite imagery and geospatial AI projects.

Responsibilities

• Process satellite imagery, aerial imagery, raster datasets, and vector data.
• Develop geospatial workflows using Python, GDAL, Rasterio, GeoPandas, and Shapely.
• Perform image preprocessing, reprojection, mosaicking, raster enhancement, and clipping.
• Implement change detection and spatial comparison workflows.
• Work with QGIS, PostGIS, and spatial databases.
• Develop tools for visualizing raster and vector layers and comparing multiple acquisitions.
• Optimize large geospatial processing pipelines for memory and performance.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate deep learning models into geospatial applications.
