Job summary

Assystem in Mumbai seeks engineers with strong E3D experience to manage structural layouts, sections, and fabrication drawings. You will coordinate with multiple disciplines, extract BOM/MTOs, and ensure drawings align with project schedules and quality standards.

Experience in nuclear/industrial plant environments is preferred, with emphasis on senior roles for leadership and compliance with Eurocode 3 when detailing welds and bolts.

Qualifications

• Team leadership experience on fabrication drawings
• Ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines
• Experience with E3D 2D/3D and Draft modules
• Review and ensure fabrication drawings meet requirements

Responsibilities

• Read & understand Structure & Support Module in E3D
• Use E3D Structural module for layouts, views, sections, connections
• Use E3D 2D Draw module for fabrication drawings
• Review supports in Navisworks for clash analysis
• Coordinate with disciplines for updates/modifications
• Extract BOM/MTO for each drawing
• Create & print A1/A3 fabrication drawings with BOM
• Organise tasks per schedule, track team activities, report to Lead

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

• Read & understand Structure & Support Module in E3D
• Use E3D Structural module for layouts, views, sections, connections
• Use E3D 2D Draw module for fabrication drawings

Experience

• Steel structure fabrication & erection works
• Pipe & HVAC supports in E3D
• Interface 2D CAD with Aveva E3D (Mandatory for senior roles)
• Weld & bolt detailing per Eurocode 3 (Mandatory for senior roles)
• Exposure to Nuclear/Industrial/Plant Engineering (Nice to have)
• Team leadership in producing fabrication drawings (Mandatory for senior roles)

Qualifications

Education / Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor in Civil Engineering
• Strong knowledge of E3D 2D/3D & Draft modules
