Job summary

Assystem in India invites seasoned engineering leaders to head the Engineering function across multidisciplinary teams, guiding analysis, design and project delivery for complex infrastructure projects.

You will provide technical leadership for cooling towers, NDCT, IDCT and BOP structures, ensure compliance with codes, and mentor engineers while driving standardisation and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 25+ years in engineering/consultancy/EPC.
• Strong technical leadership and stakeholder management.
• Experience with cooling towers and related structures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering teams across projects.
• Provide technical leadership for engineering, analysis, and design activities.
• Review and guide engineering concepts, designs, calculations, specifications and deliverables.
• Provide technical oversight for Cooling Towers, NDCT, IDCT, BOP structures and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate across Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping and other disciplines.
• Support technical proposals, feasibility studies, planning and client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, quality and project requirements.
• Lead technical reviews, resolve complex engineering issues and manage interfaces.
• Develop engineering capabilities, mentor teams and drive standardisation and innovation.

Job Purpose

Lead the overall Engineering function and provide technical and strategic leadership across multidisciplinary engineering, analysis, design and project delivery activities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering teams across various projects.
• Provide technical leadership for engineering, analysis, and design activities.
• Review and guide engineering concepts, designs, calculations, specifications and technical deliverables.
• Provide technical oversight for Cooling Towers, NDCT, IDCT, BOP structures and associated infrastructure.
• Ensure effective coordination across Civil & Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping and other engineering disciplines.
• Support technical proposals, feasibility studies, engineering planning and client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, quality and project requirements.
• Lead technical reviews, resolve complex engineering issues and manage key engineering interfaces.
• Develop engineering capabilities, mentor teams and drive standardisation, innovation and continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Master’s degree will be an advantage.
• 25+ years of experience in Engineering / Design / Consultancy / EPC environment.
• Strong experience in multidisciplinary engineering and technical leadership.
• Good understanding of analysis, design and engineering management.
• Exposure to Cooling Towers, NDCT, IDCT and BOP structures will be an advantage.
• Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proven experience in leading and developing multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Master’s degree will be an advantage.
