Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Structural Steel Engineer (Temple project) to lead the execution in Ahmedabad. The role involves end-to-end management of structural steel works including planning, coordination, erection, quality, safety, and timely project delivery.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Lead execution of high-rise structural steel building projects.


• Develop detailed project schedules, manpower planning, and resource allocation.


• Ensure milestones are achieved as per project timeline.


• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, and contractors.

2. Structural Steel Execution

• Oversee fabrication, erection, bolting, welding, and alignment of structural steel components.


• Ensure compliance with structural drawings, shop drawings, and approved BOQs.


• Monitor structural stability, load management, and erection sequencing for high-rise structures.


• Resolve on-site technical challenges related to steel structures.

3. Site Management

• Supervise site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.


• Conduct daily/weekly progress reviews.


• Ensure availability of materials, equipment, and machinery (cranes, lifts, etc.).


• Manage inter-department coordination for seamless execution.

4. Budget & Cost Control

• Monitor project costs and control deviations.


• Approve vendor bills and contractor certifications.


• Track material wastage and optimize procurement planning.

5. Quality & Safety Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards for high-rise construction.


• Implement QA/QC procedures for structural steel erection.


• Conduct safety audits and toolbox talks.


• Ensure compliance with statutory and local building regulations.

6. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants.


• Provide regular project updates and progress reports.


• Ensure timely project closure and handover.
