iQuest is seeking a Structural Draftsman / CAD Technician focused on structural design and drafting. The candidate will work on industrial projects, including steel/PEB construction, and coordinate with architects and engineers to produce GFC drawings.

Requirements include ITI or Diploma in Civil Engineering and 1-3 years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. Preference given to those with experience in consulting engineering or architectural firms.

• 1-3 years of experience in structural design and drafting within consulting engineering or architectural firms.

Responsabilités

• Prepare detailed structural drawings and Good for Construction (GFC) documents in coordination with architects and engineers.
• Work closely with architectural teams to translate design concepts into technical drawings.
• Ensure coordination among structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other disciplines at schematic level.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp proficiently; familiarity with other graphic software is a plus.
• Ensure compliance with town planning by-laws and development control regulations (DCR).
• Assist in preparation of client presentation materials and project documentation.
• Maintain accuracy in detailing, material specifications and construction processes.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment to meet deadlines.

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Structural Draftsman / CAD Technician with expertise in structural design and drafting. The ideal candidate will have experience in consulting engineering or architectural firms, with a preference for industrial projects, including steel/PEB construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed structural drawings and Good for Construction (GFC) documents in coordination with architects and engineers.

• Ensure seamless internal coordination between structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other disciplines at the schematic level.

• Assist in the preparation of client presentation materials and project documentation.
