Job summary

Sobha Ltd. invites a seasoned Structural Design Engineer to join our high-rise projects in Bengaluru.

You will lead structural analysis and design for RCC and steel buildings, coordinating with architects, MEPs and contractors to deliver integrated, compliant, and safe structures. Requirements include a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering and 3–10 years of experience with IS Codes, NBC, Eurocode and proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of experience in structural design for high-rise buildings.
• Proficient in IS Codes, NBC, Eurocode, and ACI.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ownership of designs ensuring safety and compliance.
• Experience coordinating with architects, MEP engineers, contractors.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures for high-rise buildings.
• Prepare and review detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications with drafting teams.
• Ensure compliance with IS Codes, NBC, Eurocode, ACI, etc.
• Coordinate closely with architects, MEP engineers, contractors for integrated designs.
• Provide site execution support during construction phases and review RFIs.
• Participate in design reviews and resolve on-site structural issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures for high-rise buildings using industry-standard software.
• Prepare and review detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications in collaboration with drafting teams.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (IS Codes, NBC, Eurocode, ACI, etc.).
• Coordinate closely with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and project teams to ensure integrated and clash-free designs.
• construction documents and assist with site execution support during construction phases.
• Participate in design review meetings, respond to RFIs, and resolve on-site structural issues.
• Proficient in structural design software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Solid understanding of RCC design, seismic design principles, and foundation systems.
• Strong coordination, analytical, and communication skills.
