Job summary

JobTrade in Hyderabad, India is seeking a Structural Engineer Draftsman to prepare 2D drawings, reinforcement detailing, and construction plans for residential, commercial, and other projects, while maintaining accurate project documentation.

You will use AutoCAD, ETABS, SAFE, and STAAD.Pro to perform design calculations, coord inate with architects, structural and MEP teams, implement IS code requirements, and revise drawings based on site and consultant feedback.

Qualifications

Prepare structural drawings for residential, commercial, and other building projects.
Develop detailed 2D drawings and construction drawings based on designs.
Prepare structural plans, layouts, sections, elevations, reinforcement details, and detailing drawings.
Perform design calculations for slabs, beams, columns, footings, and other RCC elements.
Assist in structural analysis and modelling using ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, or equivalent software.
Prepare and review reinforcement detailing and bar bending drawings.
Develop and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, site engineers, and project teams.
Ensure designs and drawings comply with IS Codes, project specs, and standards.
Make revisions to drawings based on design changes and site/client comments.
Assist in preparing BOQs, quantity estimates, design reports, and technical docs.
Provide technical support to site teams and resolve drawing-related issues.
Maintain records of drawings, revisions, calculations, and project docs.
