We are looking for an experienced Aerostructures Analysis Lead / Manager to lead and manage aircraft structural analysis activities across aerospace programs. The role requires strong expertise in static stress analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), structural sizing, fatigue and damage tolerance (F&DT), and metallic/composite structures, along with proven experience in technical leadership, project delivery, team management, and customer engagement.The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the technical quality, timely delivery, and compliance of aerostructures analysis deliverables while leading and mentoring a team of engineers.

Required Skills
- Lead and manage aerostructures analysis activities for primary and secondary aircraft structures.
- Provide technical leadership in static stress analysis, FEA, structural sizing, strength, stiffness, buckling, and fatigue and damage tolerance analysis.
- Review analysis methodologies, load cases, boundary conditions, calculations, finite element models, and margins of safety.
- Ensure structural analysis deliverables meet customer requirements, aerospace standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.
- Lead the analysis of aircraft structures such as fuselage, wings, wing boxes, empennage, pylons, nacelles, frames, ribs, spars, stringers, and skin panels.
- Review and approve stress analysis reports, structural substantiation documents, technical reports, and certification deliverables.
- Manage project scope, effort estimation, resource planning, task allocation, schedules, risks, budgets, and delivery performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of aerostructures analysis engineers.
- Collaborate with Design, Loads, Materials, Manufacturing, Certification, Quality, and Program Management teams.
- Act as a key technical and delivery interface for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Support customer meetings, technical reviews, project status discussions, and issue resolution.
- Drive engineering standardization, process improvement, automation, knowledge sharing, and capability development.
- Support proposal preparation, project planning, resource forecasting, and business development activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Structural Engineering.
- Typically 10-16+ years of experiencein aircraft structural analysis or aerostructures engineering.
- Strong experience in static stress analysis, structural mechanics, finite element analysis, structural sizing, buckling, and fatigue and damage tolerance.
- Experience with metallic and composite aircraft structures.
- Hands-on or review-level experience with tools such asMSC Nastran, Patran, HyperMesh, HyperView, Abaqus, ANSYS.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft structures, structural load paths, failure mechanisms, margins of safety, materials, fasteners, and joints.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing stress analysis reports, structural substantiation reports, and certification documentation.
- Knowledge of aerospace certification and airworthiness requirements, including FAA, EASA, FAR/CS-23, and FAR/CS-25, is preferred.
- Proven experience in team leadership, project management, customer interaction, resource planning, and engineering delivery.
- Strong communication, stakeholder-management, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
