Job summary

NxtWave is seeking a high-impact Manager – Strategy & Operations to partner with the Founder’s Office and leadership team. You will drive strategic initiatives, translate ambiguous problems into structured strategies, and own end-to-end execution across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced B2C startup.

You will leverage data to generate insights, build dashboards, track KPIs, identify performance gaps, and ensure timely, measurable outcomes across Sales, Product, Marketing, Tech, and Ops.

Qualifications

• Education: B.Tech from IIT/BITS and/or MBA from IIM (Mandatory).
• 4+ years total experience in Strategy/Operations/Founder's Office roles in Series A+ B2C startups (Edutech preferred).
• 3+ years of hands-on data work as an IC.
• Proven track record delivering business outcomes and leading cross-functional projects.

• Drive Founder’s Office & strategic initiatives; execute high-priority projects impacting growth, revenue, and efficiency.

Role Overview

We are looking for a high-impact Manager – Strategy & Operations to work closely with the Founder’s Office and leadership team. This role will drive strategic initiatives, solve critical business problems, and ensure execution across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced B2C startup environment.

Responsibilities

1. Founder’s Office & Strategic Initiatives: Partner with senior leadership to drive high-priority initiatives, translate ambiguous business problems into structured strategies, and own end-to-end execution of projects impacting growth, revenue, and efficiency.

2. Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage business data to generate actionable insights, build dashboards, track KPIs, identify performance gaps, and independently solve critical analytical problem statements.

3. Business Operations & Execution: Drive operational excellence across Sales, Product, Marketing, Tech, and Ops by identifying bottlenecks, implementing scalable solutions, and ensuring timely, measurable outcomes.

4. Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional initiatives, align stakeholders, drive accountability without direct authority, and work with leadership to prioritise initiatives and deliver business outcomes.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Education: B.Tech from IIT / BITS and/or MBA from IIM (Mandatory)
• Experience:
  • 4+ years of total experience
  • 3+ years in Strategy / Operations / Founder’s Office roles in Series A+ B2C startups (Edutech Preferred)
  • 3+ years of strong hands-on experience working with data as an IC
• Proven experience delivering business outcomes. Strong exposure to cross-functional project leadership
• High ownership, structured thinking, and problem-solving ability. Ability to thrive in ambiguity and high-growth environments.
• Experience managing a team is a plus.
