Job description

We’re looking for a Strategist with 3–4 years of experience who understands that great advertising starts with great thinking. You should be someone who can look beyond the brief, understand what the brand really needs to say, and find the human truth that can unlock a powerful creative idea. Someone who enjoys the pace of a live pitch, has a strong point of view, and is genuinely interested in advertising, culture and people.

The Role

As a Strategist, you will work closely with the Creative, Account Management and Planning teams to shape communication for brands across categories and platforms.

Your role will involve:

  • Getting to the heart of a brief — understanding the business problem, the brand challenge and the consumer tension behind it.
  • Developing strategic directions, consumer insights, propositions and creative territories that can lead to meaningful advertising.
  • Being hands‑on in live pitches, from decoding the brief and building the strategy to shaping the pitch narrative and presenting the thinking.
  • Working closely with creative teams throughout the process — not just briefing them, but being part of the thinking and idea development.
  • Developing campaign platforms and communication ideas across film, digital, social, content, activations and integrated campaigns.
  • Creating clear, compelling strategic stories that make clients believe in an idea.
  • Staying plugged into what is happening in advertising, popular culture, social media and the world around us.
  • Participating in client conversations and being able to defend the thinking behind the work with confidence and clarity.
What We’re Looking For
  • 3–4 years of experience in advertising strategy, account planning, brand strategy or a similar role.
  • A strong understanding of how advertising works — and why some advertising works better than the rest.
  • A natural curiosity about people, brands, culture and the world around you.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to find a sharp thought within a complicated brief.
  • Excellent writing, storytelling and presentation skills.
  • The ability to turn observations into insights and insights into creative possibilities.
  • Someone who can work comfortably under pressure, especially when a pitch is due yesterday.
  • A collaborative mindset and the confidence to challenge a creative idea when the strategy demands it — and equally, to recognise when a great idea is simply a great idea.
  • Someone who doesn't wait for inspiration to arrive in a brief. You actively look for it.
The Person

You don't need to know every advertising award winner by name. But you should know what good work feels like.

You probably have opinions about campaigns. You notice interesting work when it shows up in your feed. You understand why a certain line sticks, why an insight feels true, or why an idea makes a brand more relevant.

Most importantly, you should want to make advertising, not just make presentations about advertising.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
