Job summary

Accelon Consulting in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Lead to drive end-to-end technology sourcing and related categories such as Professional Services, HR, and Marketing. You will partner with business stakeholders to develop and execute sourcing strategies and lead RFx processes.

The role requires strong negotiation, data-driven spend analysis, risk mitigation, and the ability to influence without authority in a global, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement or Category Mgmt with tech focus.
• Ability to independently lead complex sourcing projects and negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of RFx, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and management.
• Analyze spend data to develop actionable sourcing strategies.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing without authority.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Work in a global, cross-functional environment with multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives primarily focused on Technology, supporting other categories such as Professional Services, HR, and Marketing as needed.
• Analyze spend, supplier, and market data to identify cost optimization and supplier consolidation opportunities.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies in partnership with business stakeholders.
• Manage RFx processes and lead commercial negotiations for agreements and renewals.
• Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Provide sourcing tools, market insights, and guidance to stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Manage multiple sourcing initiatives and priorities independently.
• Act as a sourcing subject-matter expert and share best practices within the sourcing organization.

Requirements

Must-Have:

• 7+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Category Management with significant Technology sourcing experience.
• Proven ability to independently lead complex sourcing projects and commercial negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of RFx processes, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and supplier management.
• Ability to analyze commercial and spend data to develop actionable sourcing strategies.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills without direct authority.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment managing multiple priorities.
• Strong commercial judgment and risk identification.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
