Job summary

Genpact in Gurgaon is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives, drive spend analytics, and deliver substantial savings. This role operates on a US shift (8 PM-6 AM) and requires strong negotiation and analytics capabilities.

You will own category strategies, manage RFx processes, and build governance with stakeholders while delivering value and continuous improvement. The position is office-based in Gurgaon with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in strategic sourcing, spend analytics, and project management.
• Proven ability to manage sourcing projects independently with measurable results.
• Strong expertise in spend analysis, cost modeling and supplier benchmarking.
• Hands-on experience with sourcing and analytics tools such as Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, Zycus, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing projects independently across assigned categories from opportunity identification to contract execution.
• Conduct detailed spend analysis to identify savings opportunities, supplier consolidation, and process improvement areas.
• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives and market insights.
• Manage the RFI/RFP/RFQ process, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and final selection to deliver optimal value.
• Build a pipeline of sourcing projects with defined goals on savings, compliance, and process efficiency.
• Use data-driven insights to monitor spend trends, supplier performance, and sourcing KPIs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, finance, and legal teams to ensure smooth execution and governance.
• Maintain and enhance supplier relationships, focusing on performance, innovation, and risk mitigation.
• Drive process standardization and continuous improvement through documentation (SOPs, playbooks, governance models).
• Present project outcomes, strategic recommendations,and savings results to senior leadership.
