Job summary

JLL Bengaluru is seeking a qualified engineer to monitor STP/WTP/ETP facilities on-site, ensuring reliable operation and regulatory compliance.

You will work with PLC/SCADA and BMS dashboards, track flow, pressures, tank levels and equipment health, and escalate any faults. Coordinate with technicians and vendors for maintenance and handover, while following SOPs and CPCB/SPCB norms.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical / Environmental Engineering / Science / Chemical.
• 3+ years operating or monitoring STP/WTP/ETP in FM settings; working knowledge of PLC/SCADA.

Responsibilities

• Monitor STP and WTP via control panels, PLCs, SCADA, BMS and dashboards.
• Track flow, pressure, tank levels, pump status, equipment health and power availability.
• Monitor pumps, blowers, motors, valves and filters (PSF/ACF, UF/RO where applicable).
• Record alarms and faults, escalate breakdowns and process deviations.
• Compile daily, weekly and monthly performance data, including treated-water quality and recycle/reuse volumes.
• Coordinate with technicians, OEMs and vendors on troubleshooting, PPM and AMC activities.
• Support commissioning and handover.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, environmental compliance (CPCB/SPCB norms, permit-to-work and LOTO).

Qualification

Diploma in Mechanical / Environmental Engineering / Science / Chemical Experience: 3+ years operating or monitoring STP/WTP/ETP in commercial, campus or industrial FM settings, with working knowledge of PLC/SCADA.

Key responsibilities

Monitor STP and WTP via control panels, PLCs, SCADA, BMS and dashboards.

Track flow, pressure, tank levels, pump status, equipment health and power availability.

Monitor pumps, blowers, motors, valves and filters (PSF/ACF, UF/RO where applicable).

Record alarms and faults in registers, and **escalate** breakdowns and process deviations.

Compile daily, weekly and monthly performance data, including treated-water quality and recycle/reuse volumes.

Support commissioning and handover.

Ensure adherence to SOPs, environmental compliance (CPCB/SPCB norms, consent conditions) and EHS standards including permit-to-work and LOTO.
