Job summary

NTT DATA Global Delivery Services Ltd in Bangalore, India seeks a NetApp Systems Integration Specialist with 6-7 years of storage experience to manage and optimize enterprise storage. You will configure, monitor, and maintain NetApp, Isilon, HP Primera, Nimble and Dell Unity technologies, perform provisioning, DR planning, and coordinate with virtualization and backup teams.

You will troubleshoot storage issues, implement firmware updates, and ensure data integrity.

Qualifications

• 6-7 years of storage experience required.
• Strong experience in enterprise storage systems.
• Configuration, monitoring and maintenance of NetApp, Isilon, HP Primera, Nimble and Dell Unity storage.
• Strong troubleshooting and ability to work independently on storage.
• Storage provisioning: LUN creation, volume groups, host mappings.
• Monitoring performance and health via storage consoles and CLI tools.
• Replication, snapshots, thin clones and data reduction technologies.
• Firmware updates, drive replacements and hardware expansions.
• Knowledge of RTO/RPO, DR and data lifecycle management.
• Troubleshooting performance, replication and access control issues.
• SAN zoning, iSCSI/FC connectivity, LUN masking for Linux/Windows/VMware hosts.
• Collaboration with virtualization, backup and database teams.
• Accurate documentation of configurations, runbooks and topologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customer service focus.
• Detail-oriented, customer-oriented, analytics driven.
• Incident and change management execution.
• Capacity and trending reports of system operations.
• ITIL practices understanding.
• Experience with IT asset management tools like ServiceNow.
• Ability to work with stakeholders to determine data and storage requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with virtualization, backup, and database teams to align storage with workload requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, runbooks, and topology diagrams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on customer service, including experience handling challenging situations
• Detail oriented, customer oriented, result delivery oriented, analytic thinking
• Performs incident management and change management execution.
• Creates and manages capacity and trending reports of system operations.
• Good understanding on ITIL practices
• Experience on industry leading IT Asset Management tools such as Service Now or Similar ticketing tools
• Works on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations, or decisions.
• Works with key technical and business stakeholders to determine data and storage requirements and creates solutions to meet requirements.
