Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Hyderabad is seeking a storage engineering professional with hands-on NetApp ONTAP and EMC Isilon/Unity/ECS experience to manage complex SAN/NAS environments. You will handle provisioning, troubleshooting and performance tuning, and participate in DR testing and upgrade planning.

The role requires coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations in a demanding storage landscape.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with primary NetApp CDOT ONTAP and CLI.
• Experience with EMC Isilon, Unity and ECS storage solutions.
• Experience in SAN and NAS provisioning, zoning and troubleshooting.
• DR testing and DR activities experience.
• Upgrade planning for storage arrays and switches.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute upgrades of NetApp and EMC storage arrays and switches.
• Handle provisioning, troubleshooting and performance tuning for SAN/NAS.
• Conduct DR testing and coordinate DR activities.
• Perform RCA and performance analysis using NetApp ActiveIQ, OCUM and System Manager.
• Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Job description

1. Hands-on Experience with Primary - NetApp CDOT(ONTAP)- strong on CLI, Secondary - EMC Isilon, Unity, ECS and should have ITIL Process

2. Good Experience in both SAN and NAS Environment and Manage zoning, troubleshooting, upgrading on Cisco Switches and Broadcom Switches.

3. Experience in NetApp Build and Migration from NetApp to NetApp and also EMC to NetApp Devices.

4. Good work Experience in handling Provisioning, Troubleshooting, performance in SAN & NAS.

5. Experience in DR Testing, configuration and need to have experience in DR Activity

6. Plan and Execute Upgrading Storage Arrays(NetApp & EMC)and Switches.

7. Perform performance analysis, troubleshooting and RCA using tools like NetApp ActiveIQ, OCUM and System Manager.

8. Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and ensure smooth operations.

9. Good to have knowledge on Storage Grid, ECS and Veritas NetBackup
