Job summary

PwC storage team in Bangalore seeks an experienced Storage Administrator to manage file services, SAN design, and DR for critical workloads. You will optimize RAID, quotas, and migrations while ensuring performance and availability across arrays and fabric.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with vendors, and adhere to ITIL incident, change, and capacity processes in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
• ITIL Foundation certification (ITIL 4 preferred).
• 79 years in enterprise storage administration or infrastructure operations.
• Managed services or consulting background strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Expertise with file services, including complex share structures, ACLs, and quotas.
• SAN/block design knowledge: RAID, tiering, multipathing, zoning, masking.
• Storage migrations, replication, and DR for critical workloads.
• Troubleshoot performance and stability across hosts, fabric, arrays.
• Scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python) for provisioning and reporting.
• ITIL-aligned incident, change, problem, and capacity processes.
• Strong communication and vendor coordination.
• Leadership including mentoring and senior stakeholder communication.

• Demonstrates proven ability to troubleshoot complex performance and stability issues across hosts, fabric, and arrays;
• Demonstrates proficiency with scripting/automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for provisioning and reporting;
• Demonstrates practical experience operating within ITIL-aligned incident, change, problem, and capacity processes;
• Demonstrates strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including vendor coordination; and,

Demonstrates proven leadership capability including mentoring, team management, and senior stakeholder communication
