Job summary

The Hoxton Bengaluru City invites a Stewarding Executive to join its opening team in Bengaluru city centre. You will support the Stewarding Manager, supervise the stewarding team, and ensure hygiene and equipment readiness across back-of-house areas.

You'll work with Kitchen, F&B and Engineering to keep daily operations running smoothly, maintain HACCP practices, and contribute to a vibrant, guest‑focused environment.

The Hoxton is opening its very first neighbourhood hotel in Asia, coming to India’s Bengaluru city centre in 2026. Job Description

What you’ll do…

• Support the Stewarding Manager in the day-to-day stewarding operation, ensuring kitchens and back-of-house areas are clean, organised and ready for service.
• Supervise the stewarding team during your shift; ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
• Ensure all crockery, cutlery, glassware; kitchen utensils and equipment are cleaned, sanitised, stored and readily available.
• Carry out regular inspections of kitchens, pot wash areas, stores and waste disposal areas to maintain exceptional hygiene standards.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning chemicals, operating equipment and stewarding supplies, reporting replenishment requirements promptly.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, HACCP and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Support banquet and event operations by coordinating the movement and availability of operating equipment.
• Work closely with the Kitchen, Food & Beverage and Engineering teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist with inventory counts, breakage control, equipment maintenance and cost management initiatives.
• Lead by example, creating a positive working environment while coaching and supporting team members during daily operations.

• A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and motivate a team while maintaining operational standards.
• A qualification in Hospitality or Food Production is an advantage.
