Job summary

Mercor seeks a STEM QA Reviewer in Materials Engineering for a remote contract engagement of three weeks (6/5–6/25). You will verify ground-truth solutions, assess grading methodologies, and provide structured feedback to improve model training data.

This role requires an MS or PhD in Materials Science/Engineering, strong scientific reasoning, and the ability to work independently with the HFI Surveyor platform.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Materials Science / Materials Engineering or closely related field.
• Ability to independently verify ground truth solutions for grad-level materials problems.
• Strong scientific reasoning and written communication skills.
• ~2.5 reviews per week (~2-4 hours per review).
