  • Manage audit engagements from planning and risk assessment through fieldwork, completion, and reporting.
  • Review financial statements and assess compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
  • Perform audit procedures covering revenue, expenses, assets, liabilities, provisions, related parties, and other areas.
  • Identify reporting risks, control gaps, and audit issues with corrective actions.
  • Review working papers and ensure audit documentation meets standards.
  • Coordinate with client finance teams to obtain information and resolve queries.
  • Prepare and review audit reports, management letters, and other deliverables.
  • Ensure timely completion while maintaining audit quality and standards.
  • Guide and review junior team members and audit associates.
  • Assist in handling complex accounting and auditing matters with technical inputs.

Job description

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5 – 8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in Statutory Audit. The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on experience in statutory audit assignments and a good understanding of applicable accounting and auditing standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands‑on experience in statutory audit and financial statement audits.
  • Good understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Companies Act, and applicable auditing standards.
  • Experience in audit planning, risk assessment, audit execution, reporting, and review.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
  • Good communication and client/stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to independently manage audit assignments and effectively lead junior team members.
