Job summary

EazeRecruit HR Private Limited in Mumbai seeks an experienced audit professional to lead statutory audits for NBFCs and banks. You will liaise with clients to obtain information and resolve queries, while planning, executing, and delivering audits with diligence.

The role also involves supervising CA Article Trainees and junior staff, maintaining thorough documentation, and identifying risks for senior management. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and auditing standards, especially NBFCs and banks.
• Experience in statutory NBFC/banking audits.
• Proven ability to lead audit engagements.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for audit engagements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure complete adherence to audit procedures and timely execution of all audit engagements.
• Liaise with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.

• Actively liaise with clients to obtain necessary information and resolve audit-related queries.
• Develop a strong understanding of the client’s business, especially in the NBFC and banking sector.
• Plan, execute, and deliver statutory audit and assurance engagements.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients in smaller audit assignments.
• Maintain proper audit documentation in line with firm policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify potential audit issues, assess risks, and present practical solutions to senior management/partners.
• Supervise and guide CA Article Trainees and junior team members during assignments.

Job Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and auditing standards, particularly related to NBFCs and banks.
• Prior experience in statutory audit, specifically in NBFC and/or banking audits.
• Experience in leading audit assignments as a team leader or audit in-charge.
• Ability to independently manage client interactions and multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Result-oriented with a proactive and ownership-driven approach.
• Team player with the ability to mentor junior staff.
• Willingness to travel as required for audit engagements.
