Job summary

Responsibilities

• Execute statutory audits in accordance with applicable auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Review financial statements to ensure compliance with Companies Act, 2013 and Accounting Standards/Ind AS.
• Perform audit procedures including risk assessment, testing of internal controls, and substantive testing.
• Prepare and maintain audit working papers, documentation, and reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with standard.
• Identify audit observations and assist in drafting audit findings and management letters.
• Monitor audit progress, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Identify, analyze, and elevate audit findings and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure timely completion of audit assignments within deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal teams for data collection and clarifications.
• Assist seniors in finalization of financial statements and audit reports.
• Maintain client relationships and act as a point of contact during engagements.
• Contribute to business development activities, including research and proposal support.
• Stay updated with changes in auditing, accounting, and regulatory standards.
