Job Description
Job Purpose:
The candidate will bepart of Audit and Assurance Team which handles the StatutoryAudit, Tax Audit, Ind AS / IFRS Advisory, Audit of InternalFinancial Control etc.,
Role Responsibilities:
- Candidate isexpected to work closely with the Partner / Director /Senior Manager to build client relationships.
- Must have adetailed understanding of the framework and auditing andaccounting standards.
- Shall have theability to execute Statutory Audit / Indian GAAP / Ind AS /IFRS / US GAAP accounting services
- Establishingauditobjectives,anddesigningandimplementingauditmethodologies,processes and audit report criteria
- Handling MajorAudit Engagements including Listed Clients independently
- Handling team ineach audit assignment and guiding and mentoring the teammembers in the assignment
- Discussion with theTop Management and update them with Significant issuesduring the audit.
- Conducting Reviewsfor the work done by Audit team and ensure submission ofdata for Partner / ADs Review at appropriate time.
- To be updated withall the amendments in the applicable laws applicable forattest function
- Expert knowledge inaudit of Financial Statement & Consolidation of large corporates
- Limited Review ofQuarterly Results of Entities
- Tax Audit to beperformed with all the amendments as per Income Tax Law
- Compliances relatedto - Ind-AS, Accounting Standards / Standards on Auditing /Statutory reporting and disclosure requirements under theCompanies Act 2013 / SEBI LODR & RBI Regulations
- Have the ability towork under deadlines and demanding client expectations
- Be willing totravel within India
- Have strong softskills like leadership, inter personal, team andcommunication skills both verbal and written.
- Should be a teamplayer and experience of managing multiple audit engagements
Requirements
Qualification:
- Qualifiedchartered accountants with experience in handling statutoryaudit of large listed companies and public limited companies
- Richexperience of 2-6 years in handling audit of group ofentities and consolidated financials
- QualifiedSystems Auditor from the ICAI (India) or CISA (USA) is preferred
- Certificatecourse on Ind AS / IFRS will be an added advantage
- Proficiencyin MS Office and SAP / Oracle
