Job summary

Placement Baba is seeking a Technical Pre-Sales engineer in Mumbai to design AV/ELV and IT integration solutions. You will prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and technical proposals while handling end-to-end RFPs and government tenders. The role requires hands-on AutoCAD/Visio work and coordinating with OEMs for pricing and support.

You will engage with clients, conduct site surveys, and deliver compelling presentations. Travel across India may be required, with base in Thane West, Mumbai.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in AV/ELV System Integration or Technical Pre-Sales.
• Proficient in BOQ preparation, solution design, RFPs, and government tenders.
• Hands-on knowledge of Audio Visual systems, ELV, networking, and AV-over-IP.
• Strong AutoCAD and Visio skills; MS Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Willing to travel across India and work from Thane, Mumbai.

Responsibilities

• Submit bids through GeM, SAP Ariba, and other e-tender portals.
• Conduct site surveys, interact with clients, and provide technical pre-sales support.
• Ensure timely delivery of multiple bids with accurate documentation and smooth handover to project teams.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Visio, MS Excel, PowerPoint, GeM, and SAP Ariba.
• Good understanding of SLDs, schematic diagrams, OEM coordination, and commercial costing.
• Excellent communication, presentation, multitasking, and customer-facing skills.
• Willing to travel across India and work from Thane, Mumbai.
