Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking a Staff Test Automation Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of our test automation strategy across products and platforms. • Strong understanding of software architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and Agile development.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of software testing and quality engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on test automation development experience.
• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining automated test suites using modern automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Postman/Newman, REST Assured, and API testing frameworks, with demonstrated expertise in designing scalable and maintainable test automation solutions.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and Agile development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with performance testing tools.
• Experience in SaaS, cloud‑native, or distributed systems environments.
• Experience with accessibility and security testing.
