Job summary

AiPrise is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead a squad, own a product area end-to-end, and drive frontend and backend architecture while staying hands-on to raise engineering quality.

You will mentor engineers, ship critical features, and partner with Product and Design to simplify complex compliance workflows in a fast-moving fintech environment. Remote, India-based role with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of production software experience.
• Strong full-stack fundamentals across APIs, data modeling, UI architecture, performance, and debugging.
• Ownership of projects from design to delivery.
• Pragmatic trade-offs under ambiguity.
• Clear communication to align engineering and product.
• Experience leading engineering initiatives or teams.
• Focus on software quality, testing, code reviews, and best practices.
• React and TypeScript experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a squad and own delivery for a product area from roadmap to execution.
• Drive technical design across frontend and backend systems and make pragmatic architecture decisions.
• Stay hands-on and ship critical parts of the product.
• Build and launch new product surfaces end-to-end.
• Raise engineering quality through code reviews, patterns, testing, and best practices.
• Mentor engineers with clear feedback and ownership.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building and shipping production software.

• Strong full-stack fundamentals across APIs, data modeling, UI architecture, performance, and debugging.

• Proven ownership of projects from technical design through production delivery.

• Experience making pragmatic technical trade-offs under ambiguity.

• Strong communication skills and ability to drive alignment across engineering and product.

• Experience leading technical initiatives or engineering teams.

• Strong understanding of software quality, testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices.

• React and TypeScript experience is a plus.
