Job summary

AiPrise is seeking a Software Engineer I to design, build, and scale its compliance platform, working across backend APIs, microservices, data pipelines, integrations, and customer-facing tools. You will own features from concept to deployment in a fast-paced fintech environment.

We value 2 years of software engineering experience and strong fundamentals in Python, Go, Java, or Node.js, with experience building REST APIs and distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming fundamentals in Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.
• Experience building REST APIs, microservices, or distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and modern deployment practices.
• Excellent debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with fintech, payments, fraud, or compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship production features across backend APIs and data pipelines.
• Own features end-to-end from requirements through deployment and monitoring.
• Build scalable REST APIs and microservices integrating with compliance vendors.
• Develop KYB/AML workflows and business logic.
• Build data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and routing compliance data.
• Integrate third-party identity and compliance APIs.
• Write clean, tested, and documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 2 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Experience building REST APIs, microservices, or distributed systems.
