Job summary

Guidewire Bengaluru is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design and build a multi-tenant cloud platform powering its SaaS applications. You will tackle complex engineering challenges, shape the cloud infrastructure, and deliver secure, scalable software in a fast-paced, pairing culture.

You’ll work with Java, Golang, Python, and cloud technologies while mentoring peers and driving observability and security best practices across the platform.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in SaaS/PaaS environments for large-scale enterprise applications.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Golang, Python, or equivalent.
• Experience with container technologies (Docker) in a cloud ecosystem.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Azure, Serverless) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Proficiency with Linux and the Java/Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Team-first attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for learning new technologies.
• Comfort working in an agile, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.

• Design and develop Platform services for Developer Experience, Authentication, Authorization using Java, Spring Boot.

• Collaborate in pairing culture with highly skilled team members.

What you’ll do

Deeply involved in design and development of GWCP/ATMOS - infrastructure as code using technologies such as EKS (Kubernetes), Terraform, Golang. In addition handle Observability of the Platform (logs, metrics and traces). Required
