Job summary

Albertsons Companies in Bengaluru seeks a senior Full Stack Developer with 9-12 years of experience in Java, web and mobile tech. You will write code, review peers, clarify requirements, and design software solutions to meet business needs.

You will work with databases, cloud services, CI/CD, and modern UI frameworks, while mentoring teams and reinforcing quality standards in production environments.

Qualifications

• 9-12 years of Full Stack Developer experience in Java, Web, and Mobile technologies.
• 9+ years of programming experience in OOAD, Java EE, Web Technologies, and REST APIs.
• Specialised knowledge of application servers such as Tomcat, Apache Jetty, and Reactor Netty.
• Specialised knowledge of database technologies including relational databases (Oracle, Azure SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Specialised knowledge in UI/Web 2.0 Development (JavaScript, CSS, SCSS, HTML5, AJAX, jQuery, NodeJS, ReactJS, AngularJS), including responsive and mobile-first design.
• Strong expertise in design patterns, with a solid foundation in building scalable and maintainable applications across web and mobile platforms.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience with cloud platform services and application development using Microsoft Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools.
• Specialised knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.
• Specialised knowledge of automated unit testing with tools like JUnit/TestNG and test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber; plus mobile testing tools like Appium or Espresso.
• Specialised knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile).
• Ability to understand client/stakeholder expectations and recognise and elevate issues that may affect delivery.
• Specialised knowledge in CI/CD processes using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and/or Kubernetes is a strong plus.
• Retail Domain Experience is required.
• Experienced in mentoring development teams.
• Hands-on experience in production environments with an SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) mindset.
