Job summary

Okta in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to own and operate cloud-native distributed systems. This on-site role requires hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and Terraform to deliver scalable infrastructure.

You will lead migrations, drive automation, and mentor teams, with a focus on reliability, performance, and security. The position is full-time and based on-site in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• 3–5 years of experience with Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) in production.
• 3–5 years of experience with AWS and GCP.
• 3–5 years using Terraform to manage multi-cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Strong hands-on experience architecting and operating cloud-native distributed systems (AWS and GCP).
• Lead ECS to EKS/GKE migrations and drive microservice enablement at scale.
• Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Coding/scripting in Python, Go, or Shell for automation and tooling.
