Job summary

Okta Bengaluru, India is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own the design, deployment, and operation of large-scale cloud-native systems. This on-site role demands deep Kubernetes expertise (EKS/GKE), Terraform-based IaC, and Python/Go scripting to automate delivery, recovery, and reliability.

You will lead ECS to EKS/GKE migrations, optimize multi-cloud workloads across AWS and GCP, and drive engineering improvements for tooling, monitoring, and incident response.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SRE/DevOps roles.
• 3–5 years with Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) in production.
• 3–5 years with AWS and GCP.
• 3–5 years using Terraform to manage multi-cloud infrastructure.
• Strong coding/scripting in Python, Go or Shell.

Responsibilities

• Architect and operate cloud-native distributed systems (AWS and GCP).
• Lead ECS to EKS/GKE migrations and drive microservice enablement at scale.
• Develop and enforce infrastructure as code with Terraform and related tools.
