Job summary

United Airlines is seeking a Staff Representative, Learning Experience and Process to lead the design, development, testing, and operation of our learning technology ecosystem. You will ensure scalable, compliant learning experiences across the enterprise and partner with Learning, Digital Technology, HR, Operations.

You will optimize the end-to-end learning lifecycle, automate workflows with AI tools, and drive continuous improvement through data, integrations, and quality assurance across LMS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; master’s preferred.
• Experience with LMS, learning experience platforms, and digital learning tech.
• 2+ years in relevant roles; QA and SDLC knowledge.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled learning and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain learning platforms, integrations, and tools.

Job Overview and Responsibilities

The Staff Representative is responsible for executing the strategic vision for United's learning ecosystem, ensuring the seamless delivery of learning experiences and end-to-end management of the e-learning content lifecycle across the enterprise. This role combines expertise in learning operations, learning experience management, process excellence, and learning technology administration to ensure employees can easily access, engage with, and complete learning in a highly regulated and operationally complex environment.

The Staff Representative, Learning Experience and Process is responsible for designing, building, testing, and supporting United's learning technology ecosystem. This role combines software development, quality assurance, system integration, and learning technology expertise to ensure employees have reliable, scalable, and user-friendly learning experiences.

This individual partners closely with Learning, Digital Technology, HR, Operations, and business stakeholders to develop and improve learning products, automate processes, resolve technical issues, and ensure learning systems meet business, compliance, and operational requirements.

The ideal candidate has experience in quality testing, system administration, and learning technologies, with a passion for creating exceptional user experiences and driving continuous improvement through technology and automation.

• Develop, configure, and maintain learning platforms, integrations, and digital learning tools to ensure reliable, scalable, and user-friendly learning experiences
• Create and execute testing strategies, validate system enhancements, troubleshoot defects, and ensure learning content meet functional, compliance, and business requirements before deployment
• Monitor system health, maintain platform configurations, resolve technical issues, and ensure learning systems remain secure, compliant, and available to employees across the enterprise
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the end-to-end learning experience through technology and automation
• Collaborate with Learning, Digital Technology, HR, Operations, vendors, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop solutions, and support the successful delivery of learning products and experiences
• Analyze system performance, learner feedback, testing results, and operational metrics to identify trends, drive continuous improvement, and optimize learning engagement, accessibility, and effectiveness
• Identifies data captures and analytical improvements, then work with team to implement
• Utilize AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity) to enhance daily work efficiency

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded. This position is for United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc.

Qualifications

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

• Bachelor's degree
• Learning technology, HR, engineering, learning and development, information systems, quality assurance or related degree
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• At least 1 year of Quality Assurance experience
• Learning Management System Administrator Certification (any major LMS platform), Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE)
• Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS), learning experience platforms, and digital learning technologies
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), system integrations, APIs, and application support
• Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, testing frameworks, defect management, and release processes
• Knowledge of learning content standards and technologies, including SCORM, xAPI, AICC, and content publishing tools
• Knowledge of Agile product delivery, continuous improvement methodologies, and process optimization practices
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in projects, internships, or work environments
• Knowledge of automation platforms such as Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Zapier, or n8n
• Understanding of AI-enabled technologies, automation solutions, and emerging digital learning trends
