Job summary

Omnissa is seeking an experienced software architect with 8+ years in development and 2+ years in leadership roles to drive architectural direction for cloud-native, microservices-based platforms. You will collaborate with engineering leadership, shape standards, and mentor engineers while guiding technical decisions across teams.

You will own end-to-end architectural vision, evaluate new technologies, and work with product stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 2+ years in an architect/lead role.
• Proficient in C#, Java, or Python.
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD workflows, and collaboration.
• Strong understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, API design and platform engineering principles.
• Experience influencing and aligning diverse engineering teams toward a shared architectural vision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with cloud-native distributed systems.

• Implement and maintain custom tools, quality gates, and services.
• Maintain a high degree of ownership and transparency.
• Work closely with engineering leadership and architects to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Proactively identify and implement process improvements for how we write, test, deploy, and monitor code.
• Lead and drive component-level and system-level architectural design, code reviews, and technical decision-making across teams.

Required Skills
